Family Camp, at the Butzel Conference Center, has been a wonderful success story for over 25 years. This weekend getaway is for families of all shapes and sizes.

Family Camp is a chance to spend quality time together in a setting that combines the beauty of nature and the atmosphere of Shabbat. Enjoy meeting new friends and spending time with the clergy.

Butzel is located only 45 minutes outside of the Detroit Metropolitan area and overlooks beautiful Butzel Lake and the scenic wooded acreage of Tamarack Camps.

Our friendly and experienced staff will lead all of our daily activities including landsports, watersports, arts & crafts and nature. Exceptional programming is available for children from the ages of three and above. Nighttime coverage will be provided for all children, so that adults may attend their own evening program.

Here's What's Included:

• A hotel-style room with a private bath in one of our 3 guesthouses. Each guesthouse has eight bedrooms and a common lounge area with TV, DVD and a fireplace. All linens and towels are provided. Handicapped accessible guestrooms and cribs are available upon request.
• All meals and snacks. Vegetarian options available. Our food service is Kosher.
• Recreational activities including campfire & s'mores, arts & crafts, nature, sports, boating, swimming, Putt-Putt, hiking trails, tobogganing & cross-country skiing, teambuilding, R.O.P.E.S. course and “Olde-Tyme” fun at Chalutzim Adventure.

Tamarack Camps is a Kosher  facility and maintains strictly kosher facilities.
